Artist's Description
My husband and his siblings lost their mother on August 1st of 2011. The day before she died, the oldest daughter Wanda sat beside their mother Vera holding her hand. As Wanda was looking at her favorite picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus hanging in her Moms room, a picture of her mother entering heaven evolved in Wandas mind. She saw her passing between rows of Benedictine nuns who had such great influence on the lives of all six of their family members.
There were angels and probably other relatives and friends who had preceded her to heaven stated Wanda. She continued describing her vision of her Mother entering heaven while Veras husband Edward welcomed her home.
Following Mom is the firmament of stars which represents all the individual people her love and kindness influenced during her 91 years on this earth, according to Wanda.
About Sharon Mick
My favorite medium is anything I choose to use that day. Lately that has been oil. It has a rich velvety texture and glides over the canvas. I also like to use transparent watercolors because they glow with luminescence and allows for the light I see in life to be captured on paper. I started drawing as a teenager. I had not read the description....and Now I find another image....but on the whole I do not interpret any art I see...I rather try to feel it, and make it Soul-meaning for me. It is a real incredible vision. Your life is plenty of amazing relationships, Sharon. Your profile is interesting and sincere. Rosa

I am in love with your visions, Sharon. This one...another dream..mystical, all those nuns, gathering on a trail of Heaven. LIke ghosts of Death and Life. That figure, more "manly" thank Godīs....as if inviting them with the hand extended and big, firm and warm For me it something of sensuality, an intimation with another essence that is rooted in Spirituality.
