Artist's Description

Moorea was the next to last stop on our South Pacific tour. Moorea’s dramatically jagged mountains are unmistakable. The turquoise lagoons, white sand beaches and the un-crowded tropical island is one of the most beautiful places to see. All this beauty made this island the perfect choice to film the movie South Pacific.
If you are visiting French Polynesia on a budget, Moorea is the place to be. Moorea is like Tahiti but cheaper and less touristy. It's mostly rural and farming is big. This island is located about 15 miles from Tahiti.
