Wonderful, gorgeous painting. We call it "Cactus Jelly" made from the tunas! Tuna is the name here for the fruit from the Prickly Pear Cactus. If you pick all the tunas, it will produce more next year and if you pick the napolitos (young leaves) it will produce less tunas and more napalitos next year. This is a very accomodating cactus! I use a newspaper folded in my hand to pick them, hold while I cut the skin, peal and drop the fruit in a bowl. VF

This painting would be ideal for hanging in a kitchen or a restaurant you should shop it around to a couple of restaurants and see what they think. Nice work! I sat on a prickly pear cactus when I was a kid - my dad had to pluck the spines out with pliers lol - all while trying in vain not to laugh hysterically :P
